Hello once again
Are you guys excited where did we even went after Becasse Bakery Cafe?! Well...I am back here to continue where did we went after an awesome breakfast!

Here you go! Let start with....

A company that began with a dream, one employee and no cash register!
Have you guys wonder what is Crate & Barrel? Why do they guys have such an unique name?

It's a multi channel family of bands and an internationally recognized industry leader and it's known for exclusive housewares and furniture designs!

It's all began in 1960s when a young Chicago couple - Gordon and Carole Segal returned from their honeymoon in Europe , they wondered why there was not place at home to buy all those simple well designed and affordable products that they admired during their travels. So the Segals hired one employee and leased an abandoned elevator factory in Chicago's old town neighborhood, they traveled throughout Europe buying directly from glassblowers, ceramicists and dinnerware. But with no money left for displays, they decided to stacked the shipping crates as shelves , so out of necessity came the unique CRATE & BARREL STYLE & NAME!

so how do i even know this story?

Because this kind lady from Crate & Barrel's Marketing team told us the story and I really find it interesting that is why i share with you guys! I really can't deny that I love this shop , it's really one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm in ION!

Penhaligon's perfume has a history of 140 years originate in  London , their perfume unlocks memories and opens doors; it can stop us in our tracks, but lost somewhere for a moment in time. It's fragrant adventure began in the Victorian era of discovery and carries us into the future as it strike to create original scents for the discerning eccentrics of today! Their scents are still made in England using the finest rare ingredients.

Packaging of the perfume , just look so unique!

We're greeted by this two handsome man and pretty lady, Caroline, to give us a short introduction before separating into our own group for doing scent profiling!

Scent profiling explores olfactory memory and builds a profile, your likes and dislikes, personality background, what kind of fragrance you are looking for and what you would like your fragrance to say about you? Ain't it interesting that perfume does make language to evoke the essence and the mood.

It's really a simple technique that Penhaligon taught us, where to lock the fragrance down onto the skin and making it softer , longer lasting! Example : spraying some perfume on your hair , so when you swipe your hair it does give a soft and sweet smell.

They suggest scent should be applied in the following sequence :

After my scent profiling , my choice of perfume is ,

Do you think Cornubia suit my character? Well I find really suit me and I really like it alot!
They do have others perfumes in the stores as well! Different perfumes, different scene , opening different doors!

I really love their looks of their stores , it make me feel like Alice in the wonderland , those perfumes in big bottles just make me feel like potions & the best part is the smell of the stores attracted me the most!

You really have to check out their stores and the best part is Penhaligon's having 50% off for selected merchandises so check out their stores today and  you will really know how does it really feel like stepping into wonderland!
