Have you guys been to Bangkok before? It's really a shopping paradise for cheap deals regardless anything it's much cheaper than Singapore, and here's the top 5 places i feel it's really a need to put into your itinerary if you're heading to Bangkok! (I wish i could go back there once again)
1. Dalat Rot Fai (Train Market)
LOCATION :
Southeast of the city center near Seacon Square Shopping Center , it's no longer near Chatuchak Market
HOW TO GET THERE :
Take a taxi from Chit Lom Bts Station , and tell the taxi driver "Dalat Rot Fai" , it cost less than $10 for the travelling fees.
OPENING HOURS :
Tuesday - Sunday , 5pm - 12am
THINGS TO DO :
It's more on vintage stuffs and second hand stuffs , bars and quite a few nice cafes to hang out! So most of the time you will be wandering around the place it will take at least a few hours hanging out to cover up most of the things over there.
2. Chatuchak Market (Weekend Market)
LOCATION :
Chatuchak, จังหวัด กรุงเทพมหานคร Thailand
HOW TO GET THERE :
Take the Skytrain (BTS) to Mo Chit station, take exit no. 1, then walk towards the markets or you can use the subway (MRT) to Chatuchak Park station (exit no.1), then walk to the markets or just take taxi over to Chatuchak Market
OPENING HOURS :
Friday 6pm - 1am.
Saturday and Sunday 9am - 6pm
THINGS TO DO :
Shop for cheap stuffs is definitely cheaper than some of the shopping mall , Wander aroud they do have all sort of stuffs (like our local bugis). I think is a best place to shop for quite a few good deals.

Take BTS to Chit lom BTS station then walk towards direction of Central World Plaza but do not go in as you can easily get lost if you go into Central World Plaza, walk on the roadside between Central World and Gaysorn. On the way near Central World, you will pass 2 shrine, one is for pray for Love please take note of the Big C that is opposite of Central World just continue your journey for another 5 minute and you will cross the river, once you cross it, turn left on the junction. Platinum Fashion Mall is near here
