Hi peeps , no offense , it is just another topic that just pop into my mind and some recent events that happen which make me decided to blog about it (not aiming anyone or direct social bully) I just find nowadays there is really alot of attention seeker in the social media, i am not trying to say i am not one of them or i despise them but there's a few out there that is really desperate attention seekers! (especially social climber and two faced people) , I really wonder why there's such people exist! (sorry but not sorry)
If you don't know what is attention seeker , it mean an individual that solicits attentions to an excessive degree.
I don't know if you guys noticed but there's an ongoing trend that began during Facebook’s prime is the increase in the amount of attention seekers on these sites who crave to be noticed.
1. BUYING FOLLOWERS
I guess this is the most weird way to get attentions or being noticed is buying followers using money and bragging that you have 10,000 followers with your friends during conversation, it just doesn't make sense at all.
2. ASK PEOPLE FOR SHOUT OUT
I don't get how does this even work? But i always occur to see this around like "A like for a shout out?" , "An exchange for a shout out?" But is this really a way to get attention? I find that it's really pointless no offenses.
3. CONSTANTLY POSTING "LMS"
LMS stand for Like my status , i always saw this post at facebook , like my status if you are single, like my status if you are bored , like my status if you are eating , like my status if you are awake, blablabla ok i got it #youjustwantmorelikes , awkward.
4. NAKED PHOTOS
Well , this is really not a need (i am not kidding) but really don't have to sell your bodies on social just to gain attention or even followers. It's really a very weird way to even post a naked photos of myself , love yourself. “sex sells” isn’t working for anyone.
5. DENIAL OF BEING AN ATTENTION SEEKERS
It's normal or common to denial that you are an attention seekers , and it's ok to be one of it but don't over exaggerate about it , asking everyone "hey my name is blablabla , do you have instagram?" LIKE DUH? i hardly even know you are why should i even exchange with you? Please, being Attention seekers not always a good thing , even if you are having all the attention , i bet that there will be girls or guys out there gossiping about you!
